Spent last night considering some of the things that I have lost over the last year. Some of the things I have won. Two guesses as to which tallies up further. One will be right. Seems them spring storms are good for something.

Some minor things have changed. For one I doubt I will be moving. Doubt it so far that I think I will be signing a lease tomorrow. computer stuff is going well but I might be spending some time upgrading this computer… for the hell of it more then anything. Was considering getting the orange box and getting that up and running. $50 for 5 games is a good deal and it will eat some time, no doubt about that.

Work is work. There is some shit there that I don’t want to really make a part of my life.

Been riding again lately. Good for my soul. Starting to work off some of the shit from the last few months. If the weather is decent I will be riding into work in the morning. I give that about a 30% chance.

Been contemplating my vacation time again. I still got 90 hours I have to use this year above and beyond whats scheduled. Got a wedding this weekend to attend. Another wedding in may to attend (stand up in actually) and a wedding in August to attend. I need fewer friends getting hitched, tux rentals and gas is getting pricey dammit.

So I started writing this update back in March. Seems so long ago truth be told. Anyway, got distracted (not that difficult a thing to imagine) and then just never finished that update.

So I took my birthday week off from work, that was rather nice. didn’t do terribly much during my time off from work, that was rather nice. had some friends from college show up the second weekend to help celebrate my birthday and get a bit drunk. Always a fun time. Also managed to get the bike out for a short trip during that week, which is always a blast. In this case it was a blast from the icebox but it was still a blast.

Last weekend I got myself a new phone as my razr had been quickly turning to hell in a handbasket. Like pull the battery out and hard reset it a few times a week hell. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a cell phone if its that fucked up, so I went ahead and dealt with that., its a shiny new LG Shine, feel free to google it, its spiffy.

last Sunday I also ended up getting a new computer from my pops. Well new to me. Its an older Mac Mini and I am having a fun time getting used to it. Its not my primary computer but I could see that happening in the future. Then on Monday I bought another computer from a friend. That’s right, new toys for me, two new computers and a brand new cell phone. I dunno what it is but new toys always make for a good time for me. So I have been playing with them and getting things set up again how I like. Seems that all the heavy lifting is taken care of now so I don’t need to worry about that.

End of may I will be moving somewhere within the cities I think. Well, I will be b moving for sure at the end of may, I just happen to think that it will still be within Minneapolis. Could be wrong though, wouldn’t be the first time. Need to find a new place though.

Work is …. interesting. Nothing going on too much, mostly its just boring. Ti’s the season for it though. Minor changes here and there. Been thinking about changing careers again lately but I am not sure what I would be changing to at the current moment. Its something that is in the back of my mind not the forefront.

Hrm, what else… been going out more often, Not sure whether its a function of the weather and me wanting to not be cooped up anymore or just a changing of the seasons or what, but truth be told, I don’t mind.

I think that about covers most anything of any importance going on in my life recently. There are plenty of things I am forgetting I am sure but I am fucked if I know what they are.

So whats new since the last time that I updated… That was right after I went down to Eau Claire. Hrm, that’s about two weeks since then.

Well last weekend was quiet. Didn’t do much that I can recall of any special significance. Went up to Albertville and hit the outlet malls for a bit on Saturday, ran into a friend and hit the bars that night. Sunday was quiet, went to a coffee shop and read. This week, lets see… Tuesday was dinner with friends. Wednesday was a happy hour to discuss some potential work changes. More on that later. Thursday was trivia, always fun. Our team came in second which is the best we have ever done before. Heck of a lot better then normal truth be told. Friday was an after work happy hour followed by beers with a buddy passing through town and staying out much too late. Then yesterday was beers with Russ before he flees town for the Caribbean for the foreseeable future. Plus all the miscellaneous errands in there like getting my parents birthday gifts, getting my license renewed and so forth… it sounds like I have been pretty fucking busy lately. And I guess that I have been, but that’s ok, things are getting quieter again. Well less hectic anyway.

Work, well its work. I am paying the bills. There were some interesting meetings on Wednesday that have me considering some things. If I am right then I will be changing my job and potentially doing some traveling. I won’t know for sure whats going on for at least another two weeks but I do know one thing for sure… I am not really interested in getting jerked around by my job any more. So if this vanishes into a puff of smoke then I am about outta gas for sticking around there.

I am also going to be moving somewhere. Tomorrow I am intending to put my 60 days notice in to move. Just need to find out where I will be moving to. I have less desire at the moment to stick around the cities but I am not sure if that will stay true or wane a little bit. Right now I am intending to look in the cities but depending on that job thing I might start branching out significantly more. Where too? Not entirely sure…

Starting look around for a new car. Or a used one. Or something. Whatever works. Mine works and I love it but its time for me to start looking I think….

Other then that… there really isn’t much to report right now… Business as usual. Or as usual as things ever get around this madhouse.
