Ok, I am feeling significantly more energetic then I did yesterday or even earlier today so I can spout out a bit more of a post then that drivel below.
First, the retrospective parts. The weekend, 2 weekends ago, in eau claire and ‘nea’s birthday was great fun. I had an absolute blast. I do wonder what J is up to now that the custodial shit is probably done. Then last weekend was Kansas for Robin’s wedding. It was fun, with a lot of ups and downs both. Its gaurunteed to be an exciting marriage for him. I know that I couldn’t be in that relationship but hey, different strokes and all that jazz. You know what I am talking ’bout willis.
This coming weekend is over to EC for a night, then on to Wausau for my sisters wedding saturday. That should be a fairly good time. Especially since I don’t have to wear a tux in 102 degree weather. After hte wedding its down to Madison to visit Trevnor, the destroyer. Let me tell you that I am really looking forward to that. The weekend after that is a big family shindig to celebrate my grandfather’s birthday. Most of my Mom’s side of the family will be in town. Its going to be big and fun for parts. I am mostly looking forward to not traveling for a weekend. The weekend after that I am looking forward to even more since both Trevor and Mike said that it was fine to push their visit back for a week. Thats right, old home week up (sorta). And again, I don’t have to travel.
Got a lot done today, grocery shopping, rent, oil change, sisters wedding gift that sorta thing. Little (and not so little) lose ends that were floating about a bit. Evidently the oil leak is REALLY minor since my oil hadn’t dropped much (I got it done early, prevent and all that shit) even with the 1,000 miles I drove last weekend to Kansas and back. Still would rather pay a little to make sure I have oil then have to deal with a siezed engine.
And now I am sitting at home with a cold sierra nevada pale ale in my hand writing this. Things are pretty good right now.
