A few changes
Obviously there have been a few changes around here recently. Well in addition to the change where I didn’t do a damn thing with idoru for, oh say 8 months or so?
Some of these changes are strictly cosmetic, some of these changes are functional and some of them are content.
Cosmetically the style is generally more unified throughout the site as a whole now. Wherever possible navigation has been condensed into the sidebar if not eliminated completely, The About page is gone completely. At the Moment has been condensed into the sidebar. Archives are all stored on a separate page accessible by the link to the right. The home link is also now moved to the right. Cleaned up a little alignment issue that started to bug me today. Pretty much all of the cosmetic updates should be relatively obvious.
Functionally speaking I managed to get RSS feeds back up and running. God knows it took me long enough to find the damn problem (coincidently I felt like an idiot when I did). Toying around with the idea of changing comments around etc but they get used about as often as this site does. Updating SEO and possibly gallery stuff as well, haven’t decided on those yet. Additionally a new mobile version is there, not sure whether its better or not yet but we’ll see. *Edit* Updated the mobile site to reflect a more unified visual experience. Overall the mobile experience should be better then before.
Content wise… hopefully I start using this place. Lately been using it as almost a mini-tumblr since why not. We’ll see what updates actually happen. Anything anybody actually wants to see?
