So… goings on, doings, happenings that sort of thing. Its a fairly short list actually. Took a half day last week and went riding which is always a good way to spend my time. After that it was meeting a buddy for a beer then a quick rush home through rush hour to go to a seminar on “wealth abundance and prosperity” which was interesting. Don’t always buy what those seminars are selling but hey, at this point it was free so I found it interesting. And I know that at least one of my friends had a good time and got a lot of it so that’s worth it.
Thursday I met up with a buddy and his buddy for a beer or two and just kinda hanging out for a bit in St. Paul. Friday was spent over at another buddies place having a few drinks. Good times. Saturday and Sunday I was mostly lazy although I did go out on Saturday and have a few beers at Sandy’s tavern. Had some interesting conversations and got a few laughs no doubt about that.
Sunday I was so lazy that I barely left home. Only for dinner with my mom and that was it. Monday was hanging out with some friends… Tuesday was hanging out with another person. Today I got to get out a bit and enjoy myself some more. Seems that I am going riding on Wednesdays lately. This is the first of the last three that I didn’t hit 100 miles. Only about 85 this time. Still less then $6 though.
I know, I know. The general day to day activities of my life aren’t that exciting to read about. Truthfully…. its the same for writing about them half the time.
Apparently my speakers are starting to die…. they are making stranger sounds these days. All well, these things happen, I can work my way around it and get myself a new set in a while without any big issues I think. Hrm and now they aren’t. (yes I write these over the course of the week, sad ain’t it?)
Got my rebate or refund or whatever the fuck it is when the government is throwing money around. Thinking I am just going to blow half of it on complete luxuries. A video game or two, that sort of thing. Nothing I need that’s for damn sure. I should save it, which would completely defeat its purpose, but I want a few things again.
Speaking of wanting… Gas prices… those make me want to stay at home. All well, cheaper here then most places. Although with the fishing opener this weekend, along with mothers day etc… they jumped ~25 cents today I guess. All well, at least we have some of the best fishing in the world. I figure we have to with all our damn lakes and rivers.
Been thinking a lot about the last year over the last few days. Almost a week now. Not sure exactly what spurred it but it seems that this last year is something for me to consider. Actually, now that I mention it… its been in the back of my head for a while. All well… its semi-conscious thought, how things could have gone differently over the year, etc. Nothing too important, I am where I am and that’s the important bit apparently.
Oh, speaking of being where we are, I did end up signing that lease so I am here for at least another 11+ months. Have fun with that knowledge kids 😉
Work continues to be work. There are some up sides and some downsides. Some changes. Some things always stay the same. Various things there in my mind but nothing too terribly important. No major shakeups that’s for sure.
Got another wedding to be in/attend in about a week and a half. Happy for the happy couple but god damn am I ever starting to get sick of weddings again. Not as bad as I was the summer I did 7 weddings. Seriously fuck that. Starting to put plans in place for the last wedding of the summer, which is about 4 months away. Little less actually. Seems that some more of my friends have decided to hop onto the parent bus as well. Oh the different lives we lead.
Well I think that’s enough. I need me some motherfucking sleep. Especially since I have a headache.
