See things so much different.

So recently I have had a few different people ask me whats going on in my life, whats new, that sort of thing. Its interesting because the answer is basically “nothing of any consequence.” It really is amazing how much quieter my life is then 10, 5, or even 1 year ago. I don’t mind it in the least but its sorta different and at times I realize how quiet it is. But at times that is a huge upside to me.

So what have I been up to? Well last night I was supposed to play pool with a buddy but when we got to the bar we discovered that it was rented out so we went across the way to Town Hall and had a beer or two. Today I went and got a haircut, did some little shopping for myself, that sort of thing. Been out taking pictures since the snowfall but not much. See? Fairly quiet life 😉

Work is work, fairly boring. No extra hours or anything for this year it seems. I am pretty ok with that in the end. Helping me stay sane somewhat even if it doesn’t keep me particularly busy. But hey, whatever!

Finally saw transformers recently. Its not a bad movie but the first hour was way way too damn long. The rest of it (i.e. the gigantic robots fighting other gigantic robots part) was great fun. Just kitsch. I found it enjoyable.

I am completely done with my christmas shopping at this point (save for international because amazon won’t fucking let me) which is really nice. In fact one friend has already gotten her gift and liked it very much. So score one for me!

People keep asking me what I want for christmas… I really don’t have any answers. There is nothing that I really want I suppose… One of the hazards of being me is that if I see something I want I tend to buy it. So I am pretty well stumped. Which sucks for anybody trying to buy me stuff I suppose. I guess I could ask for random things but I am not even really there. I think that maybe I checked out of 2007 a bit too early and am completely out of the christmas spirit at this point. 2007 has just been a shit year though so I am not too worried about having checked out.

What else? What else…. Nothing much. I took some things out of the gallery to free up a bit of space, but I doubt anybody will notice much, so its sorta irrelevant. Otherwise… Ungh, I got nothing.
