Guess Things Happen That Way

So I went ahead and bought a plane ticket to CO tonight. Guess I am headed westward to visit Andy. It will be good, I have and continue to need a vacation from life. its for October sometime or other.
Work has been work, largely uninteresting and slow. Some minor changes happening (in about a month I will be the senior/most experienced member of the team). We will see what happens I suppose, but I am not holding my breath on that front and continue looking around intermittently. have a meeting with my boss next week and I will be taking on some additional responsibilities I believe but that’s that. Not a huge deal at this point.
In other news, going to Tim’s was good for me. It was good to get away from life for a weekend and drink and see some old friends. The weather was rainy and crappy but that was actually ok by me. It was, overall, a fairly good time, lots of beer (including a few new ones for me), good friends and a weekend away.
Other then that… not really a whole lot going on in my life I guess. I am going to be kinda busy in September and have two weekends in October booked up now (thanks to the Co trip). The other weekend will be spent in La Crosse drunk and, well really that’s about all. Should be a good way to celebrate Oktoberfest. Who knows, I might come back with another tattoo, I could see it happening. So long as I get it sober I am ok with the idea. Course that is beer money.
I think I need to get a texting plan. I seem to be getting a fair few and its fairly cheap to add it. Like $3 a month for enough to cover me for what I need. Then again I dunno that its worth it really.
So yeah… that’s the fun and exciting life I lead. Nice and quiet in the end I guess.
