Ok welcome to an update about my life in general… Might be a long one, might be short I dunno yet. We will see what happens I suppose.

I went and signed a lease yesterday, effective Monday technically. Realistically I can start moving stuff in today (and in fact have moved 1 box over). Exciting times. Have a balcony, a garage, all the normal amenities, the price is right and I am just generally happy about it. I am sure that people will see it when they get around to it, but right now its a little on teh barren side (like I said, 1 box) so that can wait. Probably will have some sort of housewarming party in mid June so if you want to come to it let me know sooner rather then later. And yes you people from out of town are more then welcome to come and visit. As for furnishings… well thats a pain in the ass but it will progress no won’t it.

I found out last week that there is around $2k worth of stuff thats not exactly right with my car and should probably get fixed. I go in on Monday to take care of some of it, probably around $850 after tax for that portion. I weighed that particular choice for a long time. I mean the car has been great to me for the past 7 years and aside from routine maintence I haven’t had to sink money into it. On the other hand thats treacherously close to the blue book value of the car, I am making more money, its a 14 year old car and it has 142k miles. But the fact tha tI am pretty sure I cna get at least another 50k without too much work, effort or money swayed my choice heavily.

Speaking of cars. My plans for Robin’s wedding are getting more and more finalized every day which is good. Looks like I will cruise to KC on thursday, sleep at robin’s place, cruise to Pburg with him on friday, stay there, make sure he doesn’t run away etc, cruise back to KC on sunday in his car and take him and his blushing bride (whose last name I only recently discovered… shows how well I know her huh?) to the airport then back up here in my car. Got the time off work and such already lined up, things are going good. The major downside? Evidently the bridesmaid who I get to escort around when all the ceremonies are happening is 15. Blech. All well though, evidently she can be pretty funny.

Work is going good. Sounds more and more like things are going to be going my way for a while which is excellent. Also why I signed that lease I mentioned above. I was getting real fucking sick of a 30-35 mile roundtrip commute. That is murder on gas if nothing else.

Went to a BBQ at cody and ‘Nea’s last night, that was fun. Even got to play a little bit of CS:Source which was surprisingly cool. I am so doomed to start playing Phantasy Star Universe when it comes out but thats life.

In terms of the site… J called me like 4 hours after I switched it over to WordPress and was wodering about it. I was surprised that it happened that quick. Yep, the spam was getting to me enough that I decided to finally upgrade. It took me a while to realise that the visual integration was going to have to be me, but thats life aint it? Got that done for the most part and it seems to display pretty all right in most of what I checked. All of the old posts and comments are apparently blown to the wind and I suppose in retrospect thats all right. Its a bit irritating but you learn to live with it don’t you…

In terms of what this is going to mean to you guys? very little actually. Some comments might not appear right away depending on the words you used but after I approve it everything should be kosher, you have to supply an email now (not publically visible) and that really does cover most of everything.

Um, in Video game news i am almost done with killzone. Its a good game with some flaws(And I still wnat a fucking jump button) that has taken me a surprisingly long time to beat. some of the later levels are fucking evil. I think the next game I am going ot play is the Zone of the enders game I borrowed from Cody because its supposed to be pretty quick.

Well I guess thats more or less everything.
