Seems there is another regularly scheduled update today. How odd to me that I seem to keep doing this on Sunday’s, albeit unintentionally. Guess its just when I have the most free time. Course i just realized that my last one was posted on Monday rather then Sunday, but I guess these things happen.
Anyway, rundown time. Last Monday I did indeed see wanted. It wasn’t the greatest flick but it was OK for $5. A fair amount of fun although nothing terribly exciting. At least you get to see Angelina Jolie’s ass, so that’s worth something. Course there are other movies where you can see her ass as well.
Tuesday and Wednesday… I honestly have no real recollection of what I did. I know that I went to work but past that it was apparently nothing special.
Thursday was trivia with two friends, then some Rock Band. I got sorta drunk and had to sober up. Didn’t end up getting home until after midnight and didn’t sleep till after 1. There are worse things though.
Friday I ended up taking a half day and sleeping the afternoon away on my couch. Felt damn good and was certainly needed that’s for damn sure. Then I headed over to a friends house and watched Halloween: the Curse of Micheal Meyers. It wasn’t real scary or anything. Certainly wasn’t very compelling. Guess I was always a little more of a Jason fan anyway.
Saturday I found out that my friend that was supposed to visit from out of town couldn’t so I ended up taking care of a lot of crap around the house that I had been neglecting, for example I actually cleaned the shower. Then ran to Surdyk’s liquor store and cleared out the rest of the rebate card that AT&T sent me on a couple of bombers. Finsihed off book two of the Dark Tower series so I really ned to get around to getting the last 5. Hopefully they are worth it. Then a friend came over, we got drunk and played video games and such. Surprisingly for three bombers I didn’t feel too drunk.
Today I got up and had my coffee then headed out on the bike. Went south to Northfield, over to red wing, then over into Wisconsin, east for a ways. Then back towards the cities etc etc etc. Ended up totaling out to around 250 miles on the bike today. Certainly a damn good way to spend the day even if I did end up being sore at the end of the day.
Other then that… just kinda killing time through this week waiting for the upcoming weekend I guess. Mostly because its going to be a really boring week.

I read the first book in only two days, but it took me months to read the sixth. It’s my feeling that the pacing is fast and furious for the first five, and then you get to take a smoke break on “Wolves of the Calla” (which is a bit jarring, but anyway.) In my opinion the fifth book is the best, although the first is a close second. Guess you’ll see when you get there…

I read the first book in basically a sitting. The first half of book two in the same sitting. Mostly finished it the next day and only had a few pages to read this weekend.
Soon as I get them I will indeed figure them out.
Hows engaged life? And when is the SK wedding?

Engaged life is great, although I keep having to correct myself when referring to Jiyoun, “my girlfriend, err, my wife, err fiancee, whatever.” It doesn’t help that for the longest time I didn’t know how to say “fiancee” in Korean. Anyway, the SK wedding is 10/11/2008. I hope you like those books!

Just refer to her as “My bitch.” Its obviously worked out great for me in teh past so consider it Farnaby Recommended!
Ahhh so this wedding is first. I was curious about all that stuff. Also, if you get a chance feel free to call me before you land stateside (or after, whatever). Weekends work best and the hours of ~7-4 CST don’t really work since my cell gets intermittent reception at work. Other then that though, werd.
Gotta get the books first. But its on my list of things to do. Just has to wait until friday when I get paid.
