I know she’s been put through hell, I can feel it

And I know she’s touched Heaven as well, trying to steal it

So its been a little while but it feels like the time to update. So where did we leave off in our gran tourismo of my life? Lets start somewhere near there.

Last week was nothing terribly exciting. In fact I suppose you could say that it was extremely not exciting which was kind of nice.At the very least nothing that I did particularly stands out in my mind. I remember that thursday I was invited to a concert on saturday, friday I had a half day because I was supposed to go north for the weekend. However by the time friday rolled around the group of people had dwindled to two so the idea of saving money seemed more appealing. Instead on Friday I went riding and then headed to a friends house for a while. Saturday I spent most of the day bumming around being lazy and then up to the north burbs for dinner and a movie. Hellboy 2 has good special effects but the story is just a little too simplistic for me in the end. Parts of it were interesting however. So yes, I did end up skipping the concert.

Sunday I sat around and took care of crap around the house then went out for dinner. Nothing exciting there. Monday was largely the same, Standard working for the dollar. Tuesday I went out to karaoke with a few friends and got a little tipsy but not much at all. Over all it was a heck of a lot of fun. Then, because I had thought ahead I was able to go in late on Wednesday and leave early. Let this be a lesson kids, thinking ahead can make life much easier.

Plus it really appears that I am not having any trouble using my PTO this year. After you take everything I have spent and have scheduled I am down to 5 and a half days left that I have to take before the end of the year. Plus another 5 optional ones. Lesson two: The corporate world isn’t all bad.

Anyway, after leaving work yesterday I went riding and clocked another 150 or so ont he bike. Always such a great way to spend an afternoon. Tonight is going to be fairly quiet I think, mostly video games and being lazy. But I am ok with that, no doubt about that.

Other then that, just prepping myself up for future events, should be fun.

Well, today is not Sunday, so I guess you are no longer on a roll with Sundays. 🙂

  2. Farn Says:

No, although this has been on my to do list for a while. To be honest I figure most of these updates aren’t terribly interesting to anybody though.

    Well…we read them, don’t we? 🙂

  4. me again... Says:

Well, you and I do. Who else matters: ;p

  5. Farn Says:

Trevnor, I am sometimes surprised that people read these considering how vague I am since I know that 90$ of the people/places/things I talk about are things that people don’t really know about, haven’t met, never been too etc.

You do know that other people read this Wenchie, don’t you?

  6. me again... Says:

Yes Farn, I am very aware that others read this.

You of all people should know when I am being a smart ass.
