You’ll have a few bones to pick with a fractured skeleton.

Been a not too bad week or so. Lets start midway through last week I guess.

Last Tuesday I got together with one of my buddies and watched more of the Olympics along with a few beers and some very interesting conversation. Seems to be a damn good way to spend an evening.

Wednesday I dropped the bike off to get the turn signals replaced. When I picked it up the rain was so bad that I had to ride the bike home and change before going back to work because it looked as though I had been wading in a swamp. That evening my sister was in town so I went over to my parents house and spent some time visiting with all of them, pretty nice. Then it was off to Mortimer’s to introduce my sister to some people.

Thursday was back to the Olympics but just chilling around the house style. Friday I went out and picked up a 360 and a couple of games. Ended up playing games until about 2:30 in the morning then picked up again in the AM pretty quick. That evening was a BBQ up in the north burbs with some friends and just relaxing.

Sunday was an all day man-date with Andy and Master Chief. What a great way to spend an entire afternoon, playing video games with somebody who is in another time zone and experiencing basically no lag. I am still impressed. Oh and Assassin’s Creed is pretty damn good too even if parts of it are strange and/or annoying (particularly getting from one town to another).

Today was spent working and shit. In training that was supposed to last until Wednesday was over but thankfully that’s no longer true. In fact I have no training to be doing tomorrow. Other then that I am continuing to update the resume and working on finding myself something that I might actively enjoy doing rather then tolerate.

Other then that, not much going on which is kind of the goal at the moment. Thinking that I might head out of town this coming weekend but I am not sure where to or anything along those lines, just want a night out of town I suspect.

In other product news, I have started to use my Mac almost exclusively. I really am starting to love that computer. Course now that I have fixed some niggling issues here and there with my other computer I might stop using it quite so much, who knows. Really though I seem to be spending a lot less time online which is somewhat surprising. I still enjoy the internet when i take the time to be on it but it seems like there are just so many more things I want to do offline lately.
